One of the fastest ways my coaching clients book more appointments and win new clients is by ‘shaking the tree’ with ‘low hanging fruit’.
What does that even mean?
It’s language I use internally with clients and it means:
Shaking the tree = sending a personal 1 line email to people which asks a direct and easy to answer question. The goal is to get a reply.
Low hanging fruit = a list of your existing connections who’ve expressed interest in the past but haven’t bought yet. You usually have these people on email, LinkedIn or in your CRM.
A super simple ‘fill-in-the-blank script’ you can adapt is:
- “Are you interested in __________?”
- “Is _______ on the cards for you this year?”
The blank section “________” is simply the outcome you can help them achieve.
When one of my clients Tim sent this out to a segment of his contacts, he booked 39 sales appointments in 30 days.
Within a fortnight, 4 of those leads converted to clients.
The secret here is not to overthink it and just do it!
If you’ve got 1000 people on an email list or in your LinkedIn connections, you’re probably sitting on a mini-goldmine.
I’m happy to help you uncover it.
Now that you know what I’m talking about, if you’re ready to shake the tree with your low-hanging fruit…
Schedule a call in my personal calendar.
Cheers,
